Where To Go To Find Plus Size Lingerie

July 31, 2008 by pdelray

Plus size lingerie can be extremely difficult to find these days. This is rather odd, considering the large percentage of women who fit into the plus size category. One would think that retailers would be lining up to cater to women in need of plus sized clothes and plus sized lingerie. However, only a few stores come to mind. Sure, there are some brick and mortar stores that offer plus size lingerie, like Lane Bryant, Deb Plus and Fashion Bug Plus, but the majority of plus size lingerie is confined to the back of the womens section in larger department stores.

Still, even then the plus size lingerie options that shoppers have available to them are extremely limited. Much of the plus size lingerie offered at traditional brick and mortar stores resembles a large ream of fabric that looks more like a tent than anything sexy.

Slowly but surely, however, designers are starting to see the giant in the plus size lingerie market. This is translating to more and more retailers offering plus size lingerie and much of it is extremely affordable. Although most of these retailers and designers are running their businesses off of the Internet, as opposed to renting a storefront out in the real world, they are still pretty much reputable.

All you need to do to find these plus size lingerie peddlers, is do a quick Google (or Yahoo! or MSN, or any other search engine for that matter) and search for plus size lingerie. Instantly, literally millions of websites are returned for you to browse through. Just like any traditional stores out there, most of the online retailers are more than happy to accept your returns (but just as long as you have not worn any of the items). So, there is pretty much nothing to lose by purchasing your plus size lingerie off of the Internet.

Plus, there are really great benefits to shopping for plus size lingerie online, as opposed to actually going into a physical store to make your purchases. First, there is more privacy when you shop online. You do not have to give the person behind the counter what it is that you plan on buying, and they will not know what size you are (if ever you are concerned with that kind of thing). Also, you can usually get better deals online, because retailers save more money by connecting directly to you.

Is A Libido Enhancer The Best Answer To Your Sexual Woes? Find Out Now

July 27, 2008 by clickshop

In today’s world, trying out a libido enhancer or several of them every now and then has almost become a trend. Many people are tempted to try it out just to experience the effects or in view of spicing up their sex life. Indeed, the hype about different forms and types of sexual libido enhancers for men is eating up the whole world.

Fast and aggressive email campaigns are flooding individual email accounts and making sure that all the men in this world feel like having a libido or sex drive enhancer from time to time is a very natural thing to do. But not all of these products are of the quality you want so you need to be extra careful when opting for such a remedy.

A libido enhancer is expected to have stronger as well as more sustained effects then mere aphrodisiac herbs. However, there are some symptoms which could indicate that you are experiencing genuine decrease in your level of fertility and libido, and hence you really need a good enhancer for the libido.

One of these symptoms is erectile dysfunction or ED, which is the loss of the ability to attain or sustain erection for a time period long enough to engage in sexual activity. Another like symptom is premature ejaculation, which, though it sounds more or less the same as ED, is in fact the attainment of ejaculation before it is desired during intercourse.

But in fact, even if you diagnose these two symptoms mentioned above, it does not always mean that you are merely experiencing a decrease in your sexual urge or libido, and that you only need a libido enhancer to improve your sex life. It is true that at the first signs of premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction, most people tend to automatically opt for an enhancer for their sex drive. However, these symptoms could be indicating something as trivial as a period of stress, or issues as serious as genital infections or dysfunctions.

For example, infections of the epididymitis (where sperms are stored), for instance, or such medical conditions as Cryptorchidism (when the testes does not descend to the scrota) or Hyperprolactinemia (insufficient level of Prolactine, a body hormone) could all result in erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation. In such cases, obviously no sex drive enhancer would work, and what you would actually require is medical assistance.

Summarizing the above, it can be said that going for a libido enhancer at the first sign of a fall in the libido could be an option for you even though in some cases, you may not need it at all. Indeed, physiological factors, psychological factors as well as a combination of both can be equally responsible for a decrease in the libido, and hence going for an enhancer for your libido may or may not work, depending on the reason behind the fall in libido.

Having said that, if you find that your libido is falling and it is affecting your erection strength and other sexual abilities, then a good herbal libido enhancer can help. This is especially so if you can ascertain that the cause of your decrease in libido is not due to any serious illnesses or mere stress.

If you have decided to go for a libido enhancer to solve your sexual problems, you will find that your next problem is in finding a good, herbal enhancer that you can trust. You must do some research before you buy any such products because there are scammers waiting at every corner trying to rob you of your money. Its caveat emptor (or buyers beware).

Bookkeeping Business Secrets for Goal-Setting Success

July 27, 2008 by brninc07

Goal setting is crucial to the success of any business, but is particularly important for entrepreneurs in the bookkeeping service business who can become distracted with multiple priorities. Goal setting allows us to be proactive, instead of just being reactive. We’ve all had days where we leap from one crisis to another, but we know that’s not a preferred mode of operation for our bookkeeping services! Goals direct actions, give us something to aim for, and serve as a yardstick for measuring our bookkeeping business’s success.

When setting business goals, I use a successful goal-setting formula that a business coach
mentor taught me. The formula incorporates a strategy or strategies for accomplishing the goal: “I will (goal + performance measure) by (specific actions).”

For example, suppose that you want to increase revenue. First specify the goal: “I will increase revenue this month by twenty-five percent.” Setting a specific goal builds in the criteria you will use to evaluate your success.

In this case, at the end of the month, you’ll either have increased sales by twenty-five percent compared to the previous month or not. Then, specify the strategy that you will use to work towards accomplishing the goal: “I will increase sales this month by twenty-five percent by offering a ten-percent-off sale on all inventory and advertising this sale in the local newspapers.”

This makes evaluating your success or failure easy because your goal is specific rather than general. Suddenly, instead of just having a goal that you may or may not achieve, you have a specific plan to follow to achieve the goal you have set.

If you avoid setting goals, here are a few bookkeeping business secrets for goal-setting success:

Bookkeeping Business Secret #1: Have Short-Term and Long-Term Goals

The first thing I do when setting goals is to consider where I would like to be five years from now. Once I have determined my long-term goal or ideal scene, I work backwards by breaking this ideal scene down into short-term goals and specifying milestones that need to be achieved along the way.

If the task seems too daunting with a five-year plan, establish 90-day goals. Limit goals to three specific things that you want to accomplish. Write out each goal and put a due date next to it. Then write out each step that needs to be taken, by when, and what type of support you need to accomplish that goal. Then schedule in your calendar time to honor the commitment you just made to yourself.

Bookkeeping Business Secret #2: Be Relevant

Goals should help you attain a specific aim. Beware of goals that keep you busy but do not contribute directly to the overall goal you have set for yourself and the success of your bookkeeping business. If you don’t believe your goals are worthwhile, you won’t make the necessary effort to achieve them. For example, several years ago I wanted to work a four-day work week. I set the goal, but did not really believe that I could or should work only four days a week. Guess what? It never happened because I was not truly aligned with the goal.

Bookkeeping Business Secret #3: Review Your Goals Constantly

Review your goals daily. Keep them in plain view – by your desk or next to your computer. Goals are not something that you write down and file in a drawer. The more you embody your goals, the more real they become and the more aware you are of opportunities that cross your path to help you achieve those goals.

I write my goals on colorful 4×6 index cards and keep them by my bedside. I read them first thing each morning and then again before I go to sleep at night. This keeps me focused and moving toward my goals.

Bookkeeping Business Secret #4: Stay on Track

Once you establish clear goals you will begin to notice that opportunities begin to present themselves. When this happens, I ask myself a very important question which helps me to decide whether I should look further into the opportunity or let it go – “Does this opportunity bring me closer to my goal or further away from it?”

By asking yourself this simple question, you’ll be able to take decisive action towards accomplishing your goals. For example, a lovely salesperson from ADP has been calling me to schedule a meeting to show me their services and how they have changed. By asking myself, “Does this opportunity bring me closer to my goal or further away from it?” I have no problem deciding whether or not I should schedule the meeting.

The capital city of India is New Delhi – crowded, spicy, loud and utterly romantic. It is a city of extremes, where summer temperatures can range from 40 degrees Celsius, to the chilly winter maxima of 4 degrees. The social differences in New Delhi are also amazing, and this land which was once known mostly for its poor and hungry population is now becoming established on the world stage as an excellent five star destination for luxury holidays in Asia.

New Delhi has now become quite a cosmopolitan city, with various Indian cultures as well as the influence of the Western world very apparent. It is a colorful and festive city – New Delhi celebrates Republic Day, Gandhi’s birthday and Independence Day with great aplomb, as well as holding festivals for religious holidays such as Durga Puja, Lohri, Holi, Maha Shivaratri, Eid Ul-Adha, Eid ul-Gitr, Buddha’s birthday and of course, Christmas.

There are plenty of awe-inspiring, exciting and historical activities in New Delhi. One of these is Qutb’s Complex, an historical building surrounding the first sandstone victory tower built by Qutbuddin Aibak, the first sultan of Delhi. The Victory Tower’s building began in 1193, so this is a truly ancient sight. The buildings surrounding the complex are also of interest historically, displaying some of the earliest Islamic architecture in India.

New Delhi is also home to the National Museum, which is home to some magnificent pieces of history, covering up to 5 millenia. Some of the most beautiful pieces include the 12th century statue of the cosmic dance of Lord Shiva, and a wonderfully detailed collection of miniature paintings. There are Indus Valley relics here, from around 2,700 BC, and many artefacts from the ancient Silk Road.

However, you will need a base from which to explore New Delhi on your luxury rest in Asia. Many travelers find that the top-end market for accommodation on luxury Asian holidays has quite a lot of parity between hotels, so if you are looking to take advantage of India’s low cost of living accommodation prices compared to the west, you will want one of the best of the best hotels to stay at. The Shangri-La New Delhi is one of these stand-out facilities – the 320 rooms are decked out with modern facilities, and the decor gives traditional Indian colors and patterns a contemporary twist. The Shangri-La New Delhi has an extensive spa menu, and the practitioners are often traditionally trained in the personal care techniques. The hotel boasts a large fitness centre, indoor pool and spectacular views.

One of the most centrally located hotels in New Delhi is The Imperial, and this also comes as one of the most highly recommended hotels in a sea of five-star properties. This hotel is a stand-alone property, rather than part of a chain, and so offers a more authentic Delhi experience than some others. It seems strange to celebrate one of the least free and arguably one of the saddest periods in Indian history, colonial rule, however the historic atmosphere is so at odds with modern Delhi that the memory does not even rankle. The Imperial is said to have one of the deepest. Largest pools in Delhi – if you are taking your Asian luxury holiday during summer, this will be the place to stay!

Delhi is a city of contrasts, with amazing life and texture. The best way to see the city is from the reassuringly safe base of a luxury Indian hotel, giving you relaxation by night, and adventure by day!

Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts currently owns and manages 54 hotels under Shangri-La and Traders brands with a rooms inventory of over 27,000. Shangri-La hotels are five-star deluxe properties featuring extensive luxury facilities and services.

Dieters and Diabetics No Longer Need to Swim Against the Current

Most of us have heard about the benefits of eating certain kinds of seaweed. But recently, scientists have discovered a type of carotenoid called Fucoxanthin that is being haled as the new miracle food. It’s an antioxidant that experts believe promotes weight loss, and can even help to treat diabetes and cancer.

Fucoxanthin is found in wakame and hijiki, two kinds of brown seaweed, as well as some forms of red and green seaweed. This is the same seaweed that consumers find wrapped around most of their sushi rolls. At one billion years old, wakame is one of the oldest types of ocean plants ever discovered that still exist today. Asians have been consuming it for thousands of years and visibly benefit from it.

Some animal testing in labs has determined that Fucoxanthin will help treat diabetes in the near future. The supplement can diminish insulin and blood glucose levels by promoting the development of DHA in the body. DHA, otherwise known as omega-3, has proven to decrease bad cholesterol, balance insulin production and improve metabolism.

The improvement of triglycerides, and thus metabolism, instigated studies at the Hokkaido University in Sapporo, Japan to find out if Fucoxanthin can be used as a weight loss tool. It turns out that Fucoxanthin promotes fat burning by escalating the use of thermogenin. This stimulates a protein called UCP1, which turns energy to heat by oxidizing body fat.

The process of metabolic thermogenin is when the body burns fat for use as energy. This is the same process that is used by bears to stay warm in the winter when they hibernate. In other words, a person could stay perfectly still for a long time, and still burn fat while taking Fucoxanthin as directed. It also seems to have a positive effect on the kind of fat that attaches itself to the heart, abdomen and other organs thus reducing heart disease and helping to control diabetes. In studies, rodents lost about 10% of their body fat when given Fucoxanthin as 2% of their diet.

The other use found for Fucoxanthin is quite astonishing. There has been some test-tube evidence that Fucoxanthin may help fight tumors. This particular use is inconclusive, but more research is being done to find out if Fucoxanthin can be used to help fight tumors in cancer patients along with other medical treatments.

Rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene, riboflavin, vitamin B12 and B6, among others, wakame is a very wholesome food. Although it’s tempting to go to your local sushi bar and load up on sushi and sea weed salad, it is important to know that sea weed actually contains fairly large amounts of iodine as well. Consuming large portions of it can lead to iodine poisoning which can harm the thyroids.

While this does not mean that eating seaweed is unsafe, it is much safer to get Fucoxanthin in the form of a pill or supplement rather than gorge yourself on Japanese food. There seems to be no known negative side effect of taking Fucoxanthin as a dietary supplement.

Susan Chadwick writes for Global Health News, covering topics in all areas of health, from weight loss to internal cleansing.

Fucoxanthin is sold under the brand name Fuco Prime and can be found at www.FucoPrime.com or Fuco Prime by Nature’s Biology

How Twitter is Destroying Your Mind

July 27, 2008 by jackdeal

It’s called parsing. It means that you cannot think of anyone or anything over 140 characters long. Each letter, number, punctuation point and space counts as a character. Twitter rules as well as destroys.

As you probably have heard around the coffee shop, Twitter is now being blamed for causing America to go mindless. Buy hey, come on, how can Twitter be responsible for the pre-Twitter status quo?

Blame is easy because Twitter is a newbie on the street corner of interactive Web 2.0 sites. One simply logs onto Twitter and it’s free expression as long as it’s 140 characters or less.

Now realistically it is not fair, though admittedly very convenient, to blame America’s total lack of attention and focus on Twitter. It’s not Twitter’s fault this is an election year.

Twitter is simply software that just sits there until one enters their 140 characters or less, regardless of who is running for President.

But it’s all worth it in the end because the Twitter community has a steady stream of new members; many of whom just might become your Followers. Followers are a type of fan and you are the Followed. So to speak or rather twitter.

The truth is, like many Web 2.0 unwritten “givens” if one Follows you, you should respectfully Follow them back.

Whether you actually do Follow or not is not really the point, it’s Web 2.0 courtesy to respond in kind. Be nice or leave.

Of course one should morally Follow back out of courtesy so that more folks don’t jump off the Golden Gate Bridge; imagine the trauma of Twitter rejection.

But just because one Follows, doesn’t actually mean one follows, in Twitter terms of course.

There’s no getting around it. How truly embarrassing when one goes back over the archives!

Some poor soul thinks they are carrying on some sort of dialogue with you and it’s clear you are taking off wherever you wish totally ignoring them and everything else: my gosh, what must they all be thinking? Or rather, twittering?

Are they somehow subliminally twittering with me? One eventually starts to wonder: what is really going down here?

But whatever you do, don’t lose control because you committed a downright ugly Twitter indiscretion. You know, something you are afraid might pop up on you-know-who’s Google search.

But if you do sin, one of the Twitter strategies for covering up your indiscretion is simply moving on. Or in other words, bury it in the archives.

Twittering away with goofy and silly nonsense does wonders for burying the Twitter where you called your boss an infected scab. And worse.

But no worries, in the end Twitter is all so stylishly superficial anyway. If there is any Twitter style that has emerged, it is the cutesy superficial style.

That is probably because every California valley girl twitters night and day but of course that’s how they talk as well as Twitter.

If you like Search, Twitter has a good search function but with billions of Twitters it’s like getting 10,000 hits on a search.

And since so many Twitters are twatter, it’s sort of like ‘what’s the point?’ One can only assume some sort of alternative self therapy involved with these Twitter search freaks…

Which seems strange since the original idea was for your friends to know what you are thinking and doing every minute of the day.

It seems even stranger if you are married, but remember you too were once young and for some reason were once interested in those sorts of things.

Besides, how important can your thoughts while doing laundry really be?

The answer is not really important at all and that best describes the real strength of Twitter; it’s artificial and not very important at all.

It’s contrived except for those that already think in Twitter. So for those folks relatively speaking, they are twittering but really not in Twitter terms of course.

If it sounds too complex it’s really not. Twittering requires only superficial usage of scattered parts of the brain and very quickly you will notice numerous Twitterers that do not express any sort of thought whatsoever.

They have a hope that someday a miracle will happen.

It’s sort of like “hi, I’m here trying to think, not much yet in terms of results but will keep on trying and keep you posted or rather twittered should I actually think something.”

That’s because recent research showed some 87% of we Twitterers have less than a two second attention span.

Call it parsing or call it scatterbrained but the reality is a society hooked on Twitter and Sudoku is a society with way too much free time on its hands. And that spells big trouble.

But on the upside, even though we really aren’t important, we can impress other unimportant people that we are in fact important because we Twitter.

In global terms, we should be thankful. Twitter is showing us a very important and revealing aspect of our humanity: a mind is not necessary for self expression. Or, as we say out here in California, “No es necessario!”

So go ahead, feel free to exercise your mindless self expression. Go ahead, Twitter me, I dare ya!

Owner Builders: 43 Interview Questions You Need to Ask When Choosing the Right Sub-Contractors

July 27, 2008 by cjesposito

Owner builders oversee the construction of their new homes, cutting out the costs of a general contractor. To do this, though, owner builders need to hire and manage their own sub-contractors.

Choosing the right sub-contractors will make the difference between a successful owner builder construction project and a financial disaster.

Owner builders need to ask these 43 questions when choosing their sub-contractors:

Owner Builder Questions to Sub-Contractors

1) How long have you been in business?

2) Have you or your partners worked under any other names?

3) How many jobs do you do per year?

4) How many jobs do you work concurrently?

5) How much time are you (the owner of the sub-contractor firm) on site personally?

6) How many crews do you have?

7) Will you be working with the crew on my site?

8) Do you sub out any of the work? If so, what?

9) Do you have a contract you use? (Owner builders should use their own contract, not the sub-contractor’s contract if at all possible.)

10) Can you provide me with a copy of the contract in advance?

11) How long has your foreman worked for you? (Owner builders should ask this if the owner of the company is not doing the job himself.)

12) Please provide me with a bank reference.

13) Please provide me with a copy of your insurance certificate.

14) Have you had any suits brought against you by any homeowners or builders for whom you have worked? (Owner builders can check their background for bankruptcies, judgments, and lawsuits. Let them know you will be checking.)

15) If yes, why, and what was the outcome?

16) How many change orders would you consider average per job?

17) Are there charges or fees for a change order (other than the obvious costs for the change)? Some contractors charge a fee for this.

18) If a mistake is made by one of your crews, who pays for it?

19) What kind of warranty do you provide?

20) Are your warranties guaranteed by you or a third party?

21) Please provide 3 (or 5) references for work done in the last 6 months.

22) Please provide 3 (or 5) suppliers you buy materials from.

Owner Builder Questions to Sub-Contractor’s References

1) How would you rate your experience with this contractor?

2) How would you rate the contractor’s communication with you?

3) What are the contractor’s strong points?

4) Weak points?

5) Why did you choose this contractor? Was it quality, price, reputation, other?

6) Was the work finished on time?

7) Was the work completed on budget?

8) Would you hire this contractor again?

9) Have you called them back for any warranty work?

10) If yes, how did they respond?

11) Did they keep the work area clean and neat?

12) Were they easily accessible by phone?

13) Was he (if the owner) on site or did he have a supervisor on site?

14) Was the on-site supervision adequate?

15) Would you recommend them to a family member?

Owner Builder Questions to Sub-Contractor’s Supplier References

1) How long have you known the contractor?

2) How would you rate his/her reputation?

3) Does he/she have an open account with you?

4) If so, what are the payment terms, and does he pay on time?

5) How much of your business does he do with you each year? (1%, 5%, etc.)

6) What is your relationship with the contractor? (Is it strictly business, personal friend, family, etc.?)

Remember, the more homework an owner builder does the more he is prepared before hammering the first nail. Owner builders will save significant time and money this way.

Owner builders who skip these steps and who think they can have a verbal agreement with a sub-contractor get burned in the long run.

Remember the big picture! The owner builder goal is to build your dream home and save tens of thousands of dollars in the process. This does not mean owner builders need to be cheap.

And it does not mean that owner builders should skip steps just to get to the fun of building – you will have plenty of time for that!

Classical guitar playing is what is participated in when using a classical guitar. This kind of guitar has no electronics and no pick-ups. In general it has six strings although there are some classical guitars which have twelve strings. The thinner strings known as the trebles are made from nylon and the bass strings are nylon with brass wire wrapped around them.

As far as construction is concerned the classical guitar is hollow and shaped like a pear. Its is made from wood, usually two or three different types, the cheap and nasty varieties being built with a plywood top, whilst those worth buying are made from woods such as rosewood.

The resonance produced by the classical guitar does not rely on an amplifier or any other sound effects. It comes direct from the hollow part of the instrument through the sound hole as the strings resound over it.

Most players of classical guitars remain seated whilst playing. The other main difference which sets this type of guitar apart from others is the kind of playing involved. Classical guitar playing can be characterized by the style of music played which is usually considered to be of value due to the length of time it has been around, compared to the many pop tunes which come and go in the blink of an eye.

The strings are usually plucked using the thumb and fingers of the right hand when learning to play this kind of instrument. This means you will have no use for a pick. Strumming of the classical guitar is only used as a special effect.

When learning to play a classical guitar you will probably practice sight reading sheet music along with discovering technical concepts and how they should be applied. Rather than trying to learn on your own, it’s best to have a classical guitar teacher and although it may take you quite some time to become skillful, you are sure to enjoy the learning process. It is important that you choose a teacher whose style suits your personality as many of them teach in different ways, some formal and some informal. Whatever style you choose to learn to play the classical guitar, you are certain to find this a worthwhile pastime until you have developed your talents to the full.

Classical guitar playing – what exactly is it?

Well one thing is for sure. It’s not about jumping around on a stage screaming out to your audience whilst thrashing away at your guitar. That’s electric guitar playing and brilliantly talented as it is, it’s a whole different story.
